Chief (Dr.) Solomon Daushep Lar, the first civilian governor of Plateau state, and pioneer national chairman for the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) was born in Pongaa, Langtang, Plateau State in 1933, and will always be remembered as a prominent politician who held various offices at the National level for over half a century. May his soul RIP...Amen
