A 37 year old man, Kayode Olubunmi allegedly beat his cousin, Haruna Adeoye 20 year old to death for not adhering to the instruction earlier given him, not to eat the Xmas rice but to be kept for dinner.
Adeoye who is said to be an orphan was flogged to death by the drunk uncle.
The suspect however confessed to the crime and has since been remanded in Eleweran and will soon appear in court.
