of the BET Awards in Los Angeles, Police say one person was killed and five
injured in two separate incidents at parties.
Los
Angeles police officer Drake Madison says one person was killed and four
wounded by gunfire early on Sunday at the Monalizza Restaurant & Banquet
Hall. It was not immediately clear whether the shooter attended the party or
fired from outside, he said.
