A second baby born with the AIDS virus may have had her infection put into remission and possibly cured by very early treatment — in this instance, four hours after birth.

A Raquel Neto Furtado De Andrade, trying to wed the fourth time was caught by the police before she could tie the knot.

She had already married three Nigerians to help them reside permanently in Britain, collecting cash in return.

Her attempt to marry again was foiled by a suspicious staff at the register office who had given a tip off to immigration officials about a young woman practicing bigamy and using the same wedding dress at each ceremony.

Thought to be one of the country’s most prolific sham brides, she is now behind bars serving a two-year sentence.

She will be deported to her native Portugal on her release from prison.

Her scam was exposed at Harrow register office in north London. Checks revealed De Andrade had three ‘husbands’, none of which she had troubled to divorce. The fourth groom, a 32-year-old Nigerian, was arrested with her and has been kicked out of the country.

The couple arrived at the register office with hardly any family or friends to support them on their supposedly special day.

There were unexpected guests however – in the shape of a team of immigration officers. They pounced as the bogus ceremony was about to get under way.

De Andrade, from Tottenham, north London, was charged with two counts of bigamy, two counts of facilitation and one count of perjury. She admitted the charges in February and was jailed at Harrow Crown Court on Tuesday.

The hunt is still on for her three other husbands so they can be expelled too.

It is estimated that 15,000 of the marriages that take place in England and Wales each year are bogus. In January, an official report concluded the scams exploit a ‘massive loophole’ in border controls.

A 19-year-old a factory worker, Wayne Bryson, was spared from serving jail term after he had admitted to sexually penetrating his girlfriend’s 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier  in what has been described as “30 seconds of madness”.

He was caught out when girlfriend Amber Hickling, 18, looked through his phone for some pictures.

She spotted the footage which showed the dog “shaking in a backwards and forwards motion” and handed it over to police.

Miss Hickling said she has had to get rid of Rudy because she could not bear to look her in the eye.

“When I found the video I felt sick,” she said. “I was shaking and crying. I just couldn’t believe it.

“I would have been surprised to catch him cheating, but to catch him shagging my dog was wrong on a different level.

“He could have been doing it all along and I only caught him because he taped it. I felt dirty just knowing he touched me after he could do something like that with my dog.

 “He should be locked up. If it had been a person he would be, but because it’s a dog that couldn’t even defend itself he’s free. I still feel sick about it and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.

“I have to live with what he’s done to Rudy and he is free to do it again with another animal.”

 “I couldn’t stand to look at her so I found a family to re-home her with. I lost my dog and my boyfriend.

Prosecutor Paul Woods told Skegness Magistrates’ Court: “[Miss Hickling] could see a man’s penis going in and out of the animal. The clip was about 30 seconds long.”

Factory worker Bryson, from Louth, Lincolnshire, was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years and told he must never be alone with an animal again.

He will have to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for seven years, was given a supervision order and was ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Since the incident, described by Gordon Holt representing him in court as “stupid and disgusting”, he has been disowned by his family and broken up with his girlfriend.

The video lasted for 30 seconds and the court heard that Bryson did not ejaculate and he did not send it round.

FACEBOOK TO BUY WHATSAPP MESSAGING NETWORK

Facebook, the world's biggest social networking company says it is buying the mobile messaging service WhatsApp in a deal worth $16bn.
The WhatsApp deal is roughly nine percent of Facebook's market value which is bigger than any acquisition made by either Google, Apple or Microsoft.
Google's biggest deal was the Motorola Mobility,  at $12.5bn, while Microsoft's was Skype-wchich gave room for users to make both voice and video calls over the internet at $8.5bn. But in Apple's case, it has not done a deal above $1bn.

GOOGLE UNVEILS SMARTPHONE WITH 3D SENSORS

Google has unveiled a prototype smartphone with "customised hardware and software that enables it to create 3D maps if a user's surroundings.
"The goal of Project Tango is to give mobile devises a human-scale understanding of space and motion". Earlier this year, the firm said it is working on a "smart contact lens" that can help measure glucose levels in tears.
The device sensor allow it to make over 250,000 3D measurementsevery second and update its position in real-time.

CLASH IN THE HOUSE OVER CBN GOVERNOR'S SUSPENSION

Debate on the suspension of the CBN Governor started when the Minority whip of the house, Samson Osagie (APC-Edo), raised a point on the issue. According to him, the CBN Act of 2007 as amended does not in anyway, empower the President or anybody to suspend the CBN GGovernor, but only to remove him subject to the approval of two-third majority of the Senate. The legislator said the allegation of Financial rrecklessness reported against him by the Accounting Standards Board did not indicate if he was given fair hearing.
But some other PDP members in the house said the action by the President was right. "Sanusi, without leaving a stone untouched is the sole witness in anyway on the matter of alleged mismanagement of Nigeria's oil prprocess to the tune of $49.8bn within the last two years, which made his suspension very uncomfortable to Nigerians and her strategic foreign partners at thus time", Senator Babajide Omoworare (APC Osun East) said.
