The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Orelope Adefulire, allegedly scolded some of Iyanya’s female dancers recently.

DAMMY KRANE SAYS DAVIDO STOLE HIS DANCE STEPS

The controversies surrounding Skelewu video by Davido and the criticm from fans is spreading like wide fire, Dammy Krane said Davido took his dance step without permission. But if truly Davido stole his dance step, what is the name of Dammy Krane’s?, as the argument goes on and on, no one really took notice of this dance step by Dammy Krane, not until the dance went all over youtube by Davido.

Is that why he is reshooting the video and blaming Sesan or is it because of it was not well directed?

9 (BAD) THINGS THAT ARE SURPRISINGLY GOOD FOR YOU: A MUST READ

1. Ice-cream
Ice-cream is a low GI (glycemic-index) food. This means that it is a slow sugar release food that keeps you satisfied for a longer period of time than a high GI food. For that reason, you are less likely to binge after eating ice-cream. Studies show a possible link between milk consumption and a lowered risk of arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, colorectal cancer.
2. Dirt
Throw away the rubber globes! Dirt is back in vogue! Remember the days where kids(our dads and mums) played in dirt, food was served with bare hands, and straws didn’t come in individual wrappers? It turns out – they were healthier days than our modern sterile ones! Early childhood exposure to bacteria, viruses, and parasites has been found to give a massive boost to our immune systems, making us less likely to get sick when we do come in to contact with various bugs. Research has found that children with a dog in the home are less likely to suffer allergies, and regular social interaction can reduce the risk of leukemia by up to 30%.
Interesting Fact: There are as many as 10 times more bacterial cells in the human body than human cells! The vast majority of these are harmless.
3. Stress
Stress is universally considered a bad thing – in some cases people have successfully won lawsuits against companies for work-related stress. But, what most people don’t know is that a little stress goes a long way to making us healthier. In short doses, stress can help boost the body’s immune system.
Interesting Fact: The term “stress” and the mental properties of it was not known before the 1950s. Until that time it referred simply to hardship or coercion.
4. Caffeine
Not only is coffee tasty, it is a mild stimulant with many medical uses. Caffeine contains a muscle relaxant that is very beneficial to people with bronchial problems – it can alleviate the symptoms of asthma. Additionally, caffeine releases certain fatty acids in to the blood stream that become a useful source of fuel for muscles. Caffeine should be avoided by people with fecal incontinence as it loosens the anal and sphincter muscles.
Interesting Fact: Caffeine can be toxic to animals, in particular dogs, horses, and parrots. It also has a much more significant effect on spiders than humans.

WHAT A SHAME - FFK TO ODUAH

On the Associated plane crash issue, there have been fireback with words between A former aviation minister Chief Femi Fani-Kayode and Minister of Aviation Ms Stella Oduah. FFK claims she reportedly said “I should bury my head in shame’, suggesting that I was ‘speaking out of context’  “My advice and counsel to her is to stop being petty. She is meant to talk like someone who befits her office and not like a market woman… I do not like joining issues with women publicly; this is why I was very gentle with her in my essay, though I made my point. But this woman is endangering the lives of our people with her insensitivity, and we cannot just keep quiet”

LORD'S CHOSEN AND CHARISMATIC CHURCH SEALED OFF OVER ENVIRONMENTAL ABUSE

Officials of the Ministry of the Environment, Lagos state has shut down a church situated on Ijesha, Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Lagos, the headquarters of the Lord’s Chosen and Charismatic Revival Church Nigeria.
Investigations revealed that the church does not have solid waste disposal facility. It burns its waste inside the church premises, thereby exposing the lives of its worshippers to serious health hazard.
A substantial part of the sprawling church lies on the Odo Asimawu Canal drainage channel, thereby impeding the flow of storm water. The church also built its toilets on the canal, thereby discharging all its human waste into the canal. In order prevent an outbreak of epidemic, the state government had to seal the entire church premises. The government accused the church of defacing and degrading the environment and refusing to abate the nuisance even after it had been served abatement notice to upgrade the environment.Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello said the church had committed lots of environmental abuse which it must abate before the massive edifice could be re-opened by the government as such illegality could not be tolerated any longer.

FORMER AVIATION MINISTER VS AVIATION MINISTER

Plane crashes, act of God, They are inevitable -  says Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Stella Oduah to the just tragic crash involving an Associated Airline plane that killed 14 people in Lagos. But before her words could be heard, popular writer and critic, the former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode, who has been tagged “war of words minster, yet again proved these names by taking to his Facebook page, replying the Aviation minister saying, “May God deliver us from this vampire Aviation Minister”... read his post below

"The God that I know and serve does not cause fatal accidents. Only the devil does that. You can say a fatal accident is an act of God only if the devil is your God.
If you can steal from the dead, you can kill the living and drink their blood. May God deliver us from this vampire Minister".

US RELEASES $100 BANKNOTE WITH NEW SECURITY FEATURES

The US Federal Reserve has issued a new hi-tech $100 banknote comprising several new security features.
It includes a blue 3D security ribbon and a bell and inkwell logo that authorities say are particularly difficult to replicate.
These combine with traditional security features, such as a portrait watermark and an embedded security thread that glows pink under ultraviolet light.
The 2010 design was delayed because of "unexpected production challenges".
The 3D security ribbon - which is woven into the note, not printed on it - features images of 100s that change into bells and move upwards or sideways depending on how you tilt the paper.
Referring to the embedded security thread Chadwick Wasilenkoff, chief executive of security paper company Fortress Paper, told the BBC: "It's not a small incremental step up for security, it's a giant leap."
Tilting also reveals a green bell within a copper-coloured inkwell to the right of the blue ribbon.
In addition, the 100 number in the bottom right-hand corner shifts from copper to green.
The redesigned banknote, which features a portrait of US founding father and scientist Benjamin Franklin, also includes raised "intaglio" printing that gives the notes a distinctive feel, and microprinted words that are difficult to read without magnification.

Then I thought, can this happen in my dear country without news of misappropriation?

MALI 'ISLAMISTS' BLOW UP BRIDGE NEAR GAO

Suspected Islamist militants have blown up a bridge near Mali's northern town of Gao, the army says. The bridge over the River Niger near Bentia is on the only route between Gao and neighbouring Niger.
The attack comes a day after shells were fired into Gao, also by suspected Islamists. Islamist militants controlled the whole of northern Mali until France and several African countries ousted them earlier this year.
BBC Mali analyst Mamadou Moussa Ba says that amid the recent upsurge in insecurity in northern Mali, France appears to have put on hold its plans to withdraw all but 1,000 troops from the country.

The United Nations also has about 6,000 peacekeepers in the country

DRAMA AS REPTILE ENTERS FEMI KUTI’S CAR ON LAGOS THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE

He said the lizard appeared all of a sudden, from the dashboard of the car, while he was at top speed, starring at him snappily before fleeing away..
In no time, the search party increased around the Black Prado Jeep. Perhaps then, it dawned on the musician, how seriously he had painted the scenario. The crowd, including his colleague, Yinka Davies begun to get amused, and Kuti, tried to make a joke of the situation.
“You know, it could have been a disaster if the lizard had run through my trousers, climbing to my private part. You can imagine how jumpy I could have reacted, trying to protect my manhood. Because, that to me is an important part of who I am, I can’t joke with it.” The crowd roared with laughter.
“Evil people could be at work,” added the musician jocularly, still wondering how the lizard got into his car.

After the event, Femi Kuti refused to drive the car until the lizard was found.

DEATH TOLL...BLACK DAY

It is saddening, as I report this to you. Just getting over two boat capsize with several lives lost withing the last 2 weeks in my country, we still celebrated 53 years of INDEPENDENCE in agony, death rate on the increase, unemployment increasing at every micro second, UNIVERSITY student at home, idling away and all some of our politicians can think of is celebrating with gold plated phones. Here comes another black day...Twice-Dead is what I will tag Late Agagu as, as his remains were been flown to his home state, Akure. 20 passengers, 7 crew and a cadaver were on board Associated Airline this morning in the city of Lagos.
Condolences have been going about to the deceased (s) families. One death too many is another name I call this. A surprising condolence was from a former minister of Aviation, FFK, I quote, "in Nigeria, no-one really cares and no-one listens" then I thought, did he listen when he was there?

MAY THE DEAD SOUL REST IN PEACE...MAY GOD GIVE THE FAMILIES THE GRIT TO STAND THE LOSS...AMEN

CONTROVERSIAL DELIVERANCE CASE ON JIM IYKE

Jim Iyke’s colleagues in the Nigerian movie industry claim he was paid by the alleged false prophet to act up the whole deliverance episode.
Host of Cruise Control, the drive time programme on Ghanaian based privately owned radio station Hitz 103.9 FM ‘Kwame Bee’ lambasted TB Joshua and Jim Ike, on his program and social media. According to him in this modern world, and how people are trying to take advantage of God, anything is possible.
‘I don’t really believe in this TB Joshua and Jim Ike’s deliverance. ‘ I don’t believe in TB Joshua and his well-planned Gimmicks, take a careful look at the video , as a good film maker so you can’t simply tell is not real, it was planned ,lot of pastors do this, is a way to prove they are powerful’ Kwame B said unedited.
Yet another person spoke, Segun Arinze, who claims Nollywood is now entering church said the following via a social media few hours ago;
“This Jim Iyke’s deliverance video at the Synagogue trending looks too contrived. It’s a big embarrassment. Has anyone ever seen demons come out live and speak? Una fit stand demons? Una carry Nollywood enter Church, abi? How much did he get paid? I’m just wondering. Make una stop all these nonsense play. Haba. Stranger than fiction!”
Another Nollywood movie producer, Charles Novia has spoken. The popular Nollywood critic said deliverance issue should be made personal and not as televised by TB Joshua.
Check out his opinion below;
“So, Jim Iyke got ‘delivered’ of an evil demon in a popular church recently? Mmmmm. Chai! Strange things happen. And after Jim Iyke’s deliverance, the ‘new’ Jim Iyke barked out at his PA about his shoes off his legs? Hmmmm. All I can say is that ‘whatever floats your boat, brother’. Better send those poor women you have dated to same church for same. These Nollywood stars and the rush for‘deliverance’. Dem need am sef. God save us Producers from some of the demons we cast.
“I’m not insulting anyone. I just feel that ‘deliverance’ issues are personal. Not with cameras and lights. De demon na star?I know I am treading dangerous grounds here esp when it comes to spiritual stuff and celebs but I have a right to comment since it’s public. My moonlighting as a critic makes analytical cynicism a part of my job. We are afraid too much of speaking our minds…I do think though that Jim was brave to go for deliverance. It is a first step to a total recovery. I wish him well. Honestly, I do.

“For those sending me hateful tweets over this deliverance issue, you know the way to the church for yours. I’m unfazed. My tweets are my personal opinions on a topic, if you twist them or it offends you, na you sabi. No skin off my nose.Like I said, Jim has my best wishes. Good actor, he is. We go through a mid-life crisis one time or the other. Genuine God discovery helps.”

Commissioner of Police for the command, Salahu Waheed, said the suspects, Lateef Popoola, 13; Amadi Joshua, 14; and Ukpabio Onyedikachi, 14, were arrested at different times at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja.
